Her upcoming fourth book is about using neuroscience, neuroplasticity, nutrition and lifestyle medicine to build a better brain which can lead to a better quality of life. 'The Life Currency' has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. LakheraвЂ™s second and third book, 'I am not a Princess, I am a Complete Fairytale' and 'The Life Currency,' are included in the Peace and Justice syllabi of Wayne State University and Michigan State University. In the end, she came to realize how we can thrive through such tragedies. From her personal experience, Lakhera learned that tragedies such as hers can strike anyone at any stage in life. She picked herself up and turned to studying lifestyle medicine, neuroscience, nutrition, literature and art to heal herself and others.
